Hello - I have received a new ODIDO connection, after a huge number of follow ups I got the router shipped to me. Then a person from Guidon came in and did the installation but now since last many days they tell me KPN has to start the internet and they have not started it. How many days do I wait for the internet to work ? The reference number provided to me is 2372/72463937. Appreciate if anyone can help me.

Note I have spent weeks waiting for my internet to work again.

I see that we already made contact with KPN NetwerkNL and we have requested them to urgently fix your connection. Because KPN NetwerkNL is not available on the weekends, I expect that they will contact you the day after tomorrow. Usually they can send a technician very quickly to your place.

I expect that this is finally solved quickly!

But the problem is NOT solved, my internet is still not working and it has been many days, its very hard for me to keeping calling you every week and ask for the temporary codes. I have spent hours talking to your customer service, can you please ensure KPN starts my internet as soon as possible ? I work from home and its very hard for me to work. I hope you can understand my pain and problem.

As I mentioned in my previous answer, we have informed KPN NetwerkNL and asked them to urgently contact you for an appointment. Because KPN NetwerkNL is not available on the weekends, I expect that they will contact you tomorrow, so on Monday. I am sure that the technician of KPN NetwerkNL can swiftly help you out!


Hello @Cal van Odido  - KPN finally visited and got my internet started, but they informed me that there is some damage and I am not getting the right speed I asked for. They told me they are going to come again today on 26-Aug, and fix the damage can you check in your system that KPN still has my issue open ? ODIDO has started billing me but my internet speed is very poor due to the damaged system from KPN.

Please help me, the problem continues to remain after so many weeks 😞.

Hi @Waqqas @Cal van Odido  - Can you please make sure KPN visits us today for the damaged equipment and the fixes ? As you can see the speed is very low.

Hello - I am waiting for KPN to come I have to go to work but I am staying home today. Its important that I get the speed I am paying for. It will be great if someone can confirm KPN comes today.

I cannot stay home every day and internet speed is a problem for me :(

Hello - The KPN technician arrived and made a fix but the speed is a problem. KPN says we should contact ODIDO for the speed, can you check why our speed is so slow ? We are paying for 400 MBPS.

Can you connect a wired laptop directly to the router with a CAT5e cable or better and perform a speedtest using the Ookla speedtest app?

You can also try another cable between ONT and router and between router and laptop.


Hello is it possible for you to send a technician from Guidon or ODIDO to check for the speed, the speed even next to the router is not good. I am sorry KPN told me not to touch the setup else internet will stop working and I cannot put any cables in it. KPN says its a ODIDO problem. I cannot put any cables and run tests for you.
