Unstable internet

Hello,

Yesterday I have moved to Odido optic internet.

Most of the time I am working from home.

Yesterday evening I already had some problems with the internet.

Today in the morning through whole day internet was very unstable. In some moments is very fast and few seconds later is very slow. That was during whole working day.

I have Deco device.

The problems yesterday were with connected  Zyxel router and my Deco connected with the it. 

Yesterday late evening I have removed Odido Zyxel router following the advices on this forum. Now I am using my Deco device only and not provided Zyxel. 

But in both cases, with or without the Zyxel router, problem exists.

I have Huawei ONT.

It looks to me like I have a loss of packages.

Does this issue appear on WiFi only or both WiFi and via cable? 

Is it only on 1 device or on all devices connected to the router?

Have you tried replacing the cable between Huawei and router to see if it works better than?

Hi

It happens with WiFi and with cable.

On my router there are multiple devices connected at home. Like mobile phones and also some home appliances. By cable only one device is connected, the work laptop.

I did not tried a different cable. I need to search different one long enough, as ONT is at the house entrance and my router in the living room.

I did a reset of the ONT this evening and I can't say if that helped now. Easiest is to try during my work.

This morning it is ok for now.

I will do more testing next week.
