Cancel subscription from abroad


Hello, I moved out of the Netherlands and I am struggling to cancel my Odido subscription and I can’t call Odido on the phone.

Could someone (from Odido) please help me with this? I've provided all of the information in my account.

Please let me know if there is a different way that I can cancel my subscription WITHOUT calling. It has to be done via web or text-based chat.

Unfortunatly,  subscriptions can not be cancelled via this forum. You can chat or call the customer care.

You should also be able to cancel your subscription via Mijn Odido or the Odido app.

@eric  Subscriptions have been canceled through this forum, see here for example. Why can’t a moderator who has all my info cancel my subscription the same as they did for this other user?

I can’t cancel the subscription through the app. No matter where I go in the Cancellation page it ends up telling me that I have to call someone. I find it ridiculous and frankly a contemptible practice that Odido makes it so hard to cancel your subscription.

Since ~10 days moderators are no longer allowed to cancel subscriptions via this forum. Klik&Klaar can still be cancelled by a moderator.

@Waqqas Legally, you should be able to cancel a subscription the same way as you took out the subscription. So if this can be online, you need to be able to cancel online too. There can’t be a message that you need to call them. I think you need to relay this back to the moderators because Odido is in breach of the law here.

@Waqqas Well, I hope people realize that Odido is deliberately going above and beyond to put as many barriers as possible between a user and cancelling their subscription. My only option at this point is wasting probably 2 hours of my life in the attempt to get an actual person who has the power to cancel my subscription to speak to me, whereas it takes 5 minutes online to sign up for a subscription or topping up an existing one.
