Please help me cancel my subscription

Hello, I moved out of the Netherlands and I am struggling to cancel my Odido subscription. Every time I try to use the Odido app it says it can't connect me with a representative and I am unable to call Odido at the moment.

 

Could someone (from Odido) please help me with this? I've provided all of the information in my account.

 

Please let me know if there is a different way that I can cancel my subscription WITHOUT calling. It has to be done via web or text-based chat.

@opzeggenpleaseee No problem! I've just processed the cancellation for your Internet + TV subscription as well. Because it's a day later, the first possible date was 29/03/25. The corresponding buyoff is € 78,66. You have also received a confirmation email!

Hello ​@opzeggenpleaseee, welcome to our Community! I completely understand that you want to cancel your subscription since you are abroad. I can help you with this through this way and I will be happy to do so! 

Is it about your mobile subscription? I checked right away and I see that you are still under contract for your mobile subscription until 30/7/25. If you want to cancel the subscription, the earliest you can do so is 25/03/25 due to one month's notice. You also need to buy out the subscription, as you are still in your contract. You will then pay 50% of the monthly cost for the remaining months and the device credit you currently have outstanding (if you have it). 

I immediately made the calculation for you and the redemption amount is € 30.19. If you agree, I can process the cancellation for you. I only have to do an extra verification to make sure that you are the right person. I have therefore sent a verification code by SMS to your number. Can you share it with me? Then I can process it directly for you and your subscription will be cancelled on 25/03/25.

Hi ​@Pharwin van Odido, I would like to cancel both my internet and my mobile plan. I am okay with the 30.19 euros for the mobile subscription. How much would it be for me to cancel my internet plan due to it being before the contract period?

I just received the SMS verification code. That is: 8183245.

Hi ​@opzeggenpleaseee that's totally fine, I'm happy to help! Thanks for sharing the code. I have just processed the cancellation for your mobile subscription. It will be discontinued on 25/03/25 and the buyoff is € 30,19. I sent you a confirmation email about this as well! 

For your Internet subscription, the surrender charge is: 0.5 x remaining contract duration x monthly cost of service(s) concluded. I immediately made the calculation for you and if you would cancel, this can be done on 28/03/25 at the earliest. I made the calculation for you and the compensation is € 79,39. 

Can you let me know if you agree? Then I can process the cancellation of your Internet subscription immediately!

Hi ​@Pharwin van Odido, do I still need to send the router back to Odido after my contract is canceled? If so. could you please provide me an address to mail it back to?

Hi ​@opzeggenpleaseee yes that's right! You will automatically receive an e-mail about this when the end of your subscription is approaching. There you can read exactly how to return the equipment to us. It does depend on which router you are currently using.
