Hi, can I use WX5600 as a standalone access point, without connecting it to controller (EX7501)?
When I put WX5600 to my network by wire, it automatically became as a mesh device for the main router EX7501, it clones its WIFI settings, and refuses to change it.
If I reset WX5600 and don't connect it with a wire to EX7501, it is unable to put manual settings to it, it says that there is no controller, and sorry, I will not work.

But for some reason I want to configure it separately, with own SSID, and use another subnet.
Is there a way to do this? Maybe there is an appropriate firmware for such purposes?

Hi @wf1nder, welcome to our Community!

It is not possible to use the WX5600 as a standalone access point on a different subnet. Our Wifi points only work through the mesh network on the Zyxels.
