Dear Odido team.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding the delay in the installation of a fiber optic connection to my home. I signed the contract for this service on 21 November 2023, and, unfortunately, over a year later, I am still waiting for the connection to be finalized.

 

I understand that certain challenges or unforeseen circumstances can arise during such projects, but this prolonged delay has been quite inconvenient. I would greatly appreciate an update on the status of my installation and a clear timeline for when I can expect the connection to be completed.

Hi ​@Shibkki, I understand that you would like to have more clarity on the situation. In this case we are fully depending on Open Dutch Fiber since they are the ones who will lay down the Fiber network and make sure that the Fiber is being placed inside your home. I checked the status and I see that at the moment it is not certain that we are able to finish the Fiber in your area. At the moment Open Dutch Fiber is performing a feasibility study to see if it's possible to work on the Fiber network. For any updates on this, it is best to contact Open Dutch Fiber to see if they can give you more information on this. You can contact them by calling 088-1633633 on workdays between 09:00 and 17:00. As soon as the results of the study are in, we will also inform you about this!

Additionally, I would like to mention that I have already called your support team multiple times regarding this issue. Each time, I was redirected to third-party providers (Open Dutch Fiber) without receiving a clear or satisfactory resolution. This has been quite frustrating, and I hope this matter can now be addressed directly and promptly.
