Hey all,

I had to move to Sri Lanka for a few months but wanted to keep my number and use it when I move back to NL. Before I moved, I switched to a prepaid subscription and an employee told me to send SMSs every month or so to my friends in order to show Odido that the number is not idle and therefore won’t get cancelled. Once I got here I bought some credit on the Odido app and made sure roaming was on, and tried sending an SMS but it won’t send. I get a “failure to send” error. I’ve tried restarting my phone, checking if roaming is on, leaving the SIM in for some hours and restarting cellular data. Nothing works. Anyone got idea as to why?

Do you have network coverage? Try to manually select another provider and sms again or try to send a sms to another friend.

Using mobile data or callíng is also enough to keep your simcard alive.
