I just bought a new S24 ultra, but I’m having problems when trying to claim my watch from Samsung web page. Despite, Samsung web sates that the promotion with Odido is still valid, and I found the page to register with my promotion and claim the watch, when I try to fill the form, no promotion with S24 pops up. Im only able to see the promotion with Galaxy Z flip.

I also tried contacting Samsung support, but they sent me to a WhatsApp chat with a bot that is unresponsive after a while.

I already did that…  If you look into the screenshots above, you will see that:

  1. first, I got a message saying promotion is not valid in the country.
  1. If I close the red banner and continue, I’m not able to find/select my phone model when trying to register.

    Therefore, it is not possible to continue with the claiming process...


I am having exactly the same issue. I wonder why it says it’s not avialable in the Netherlands. Hooe this gets sorted soon, would hate to have to return the phone.

 


@Blasco, I’ve figured it out.

 

Your Samsung account might have in the personal details a different country. I assume it would come from being linked to your google account. Change it to Netherlands (in the Samsung profile) and it shoud work (will probably log you out of your devices, just need to log back in afterwards). 

 

I’ve just finished filling all the information in the promotion details and it went OK. If you have any issues, let me know I can perhaps guide you through it.

Thanks Alex… I followed your advice and finally was able to claim the watch.
To be hones it was quite tricky:
1) First, changing the country of my Google account was tricky in itself.
2) After changing the country on my Google account, my Samsung account didn't update.
 To solve the issue, I unlinked the accounts, changed the county manually on my Samsung account and then linked them back.
