Request to Cancel Multi-SIM Subscription and Convert Main Subscription to PrePaid  

Dear Odido Community,  

I hope this message finds you well. I would like your assistance with the following:  

1. **Canceling My Multi-SIM Subscription**  
I would like to stop my multi-SIM subscription immediately. Could you please let me know the end date for this subscription and guide me on how I can cancel it as soon as possible?  

2. **Converting My Main Subscription to PrePaid**  
My current subscription will end on **April 10, 2025**, and I would like to convert it to a PrePaid SIM card after the subscription ends. Could you help me arrange this conversion?  

**Important Note:**  
I did not include my full name, address, or other personal details in this message because I am unsure if it is safe to share such sensitive information here on the public forum. Could you please advise where I can securely provide my personal details for verification?  

If there are any additional costs or steps required, please let me know. I appreciate your help in managing this transition.

Hello ​@AChahianchi thanks for sharing the code! I just processed the conversion to Prepaid for you, this will take place on 10/04/25 and I sent you a confirmation email about this as well! 

As for discontinuing your Multisim, our IT department will be working on it. As soon as it is resolved, you will be notified by phone or email.

Hello ​@AChahianchi, I am happy to help you with this! Is there a specific reason you want to cancel your Multisim and convert your subscription to PrePaid? I can stop the Multisim bundle for you after one month's notice, is that okay with you? I can have your subscription converted to PrePaid as of the end date if you would like. 

To be able to arrange this for you, I just need to do a verification on some data so that I can make sure you are the right person. Can you provide your full name, zip code + house number, date of birth and the last 4 digits of the bank account number known to us in your profile?  

Once you have done that, I just need to do an additional check. For this I will send a code by SMS to your number. As soon as you can share it with me, I can cancel Multisim for you and convert your subscription to PrePaid by the end date!

Thank you for your response. I have added the necessary information to my profile as requested. Please proceed with canceling my Multisim on my Apple Watch and converting my subscription to a PrePaid SIM.

 

The reason for this request is that I travel abroad frequently and do not need an expensive subscription. Additionally, the eSIM on my Apple Watch does not work everywhere, making it impractical to pay for a subscription that I do not fully utilize.

 

I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your confirmation.

Hi ​@AChahianchi Thanks for the clarification! I see that somehow I can't cancel the Multisim for you because the system doesn't allow it. I have immediately created a case for you towards our IT team. The registry number is: 76487721. They will investigate and resolve this for you. The processing time is currently up to 14 days, due to busy times. It may well be picked up within a few days, but please note that it may take up to 14 days, before you receive any feedback. This will be by phone or email. 

I can take care of the conversion to Prepaid for you. I see that you are still in contract until 10-4-2025. Is that the date when your subscription can be converted to Prepaid? This is completely free of charge. 

To be able to arrange this for you, I just need to do an additional verification to make sure you are the right person. I have just sent a verification code by SMS to your number. Can you share it with me? Then I can immediately process the request to Prepaid for you after that.

Thank you for your response and for your effort in trying to cancel my Multisim. I appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

 

Regarding my main subscription, yes, I would like it to be converted to a physical prepaid SIM card on 10-04-2025 as you mentioned.

 

However, as I am currently abroad, I may not have received the SMS verification code from Odido. Could you please send the verification code to my email address or via the Odido Community instead? That would be the best way for me to receive it.

 

I appreciate your support in both canceling my Multisim and converting my main subscription to prepaid. Looking forward to your response.

Subject: Follow-up on Received Email Regarding Cancellation

 

Dear Pharwin,

 

Thank you for your assistance and for processing the conversion to Prepaid. I have received the confirmation email you mentioned.

 

However, I also received the following email from Odido, which has confused me:

 

“Je hebt in Mijn Odido een aanvraag ingediend om je abonnement op te zeggen. Helaas is het niet gelukt om je aanvraag te verwerken. We vragen je daarom contact met ons op te nemen via 0800-0092.”

 

My reply to that email was that I am currently abroad and calling this number would be very expensive for me. I asked if it would be possible to communicate with me via email and explain why the cancellation was not successful and what steps I should take.

 

Could you please investigate this situation and let me know what is going on? I truly appreciate your help and all your efforts to assist me.

Hello ​@AChahianchi, I hope you had a great weekend! I checked right away and I see that our IT team has taken care of your ticket. I see that it was about stopping your Multisim. They cannot take care of that for you, because from now on cancellations are handled by phone by calling: 0800-0092. This can be done from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 to 17:30. Is it possible for you to call our colleagues? They can stop the Multisim for you. If it is not possible for you to call, you can possibly submit the cancellation via our online contact form: https://www.odido.nl/service/contactformulier. 

No worries, I still see that the conversion to PrePaid is still correct in our system. Your subscription will be converted to PrePaid as of 10-4-2025. I suspect you had received the email, for canceling your Multisim subscription. 

If you contact me by phone or via the contact form, my colleagues will take care of it for you!
