I just move out of the Netherlands and I would like to cancel my home wifi. However, I cannot seem to do so since I cannot use my Dutch phone number any longer. I tried calling multiple times to no avail and they told me in the shop that they cannot help me. How can I cancel it from abroad?

Good of you to point that out. I can help you here. When would you like to cancel your subscription? I would also like to see your customer number again as I cannot find a subscription at this email address. Can you add your customer number to your profile? You can find it in Mijn Odido (in a web browser) → Click on Subscriptions → Click on the down arrow at Customer since → Customer number: ABC12345. 


Hey there! Thank you for your response. The issue is that when I try to link my subscription to my account it requires that I use my Dutch phone number which is no longer active. Is there another way for me to do this?


You can also put your postalcode + housenumber there @viktormilenov, then I am able to find the subscription!

No I have not yet been able to cancel it. It is weird that you cannot find the subscription. Would it be useful if I provided the bank account IBAN which is used to pay for the subscription?


Could you send me a private message with your postal code, house number, date of birth and the last four digits of your account number @viktormilenov


Hi @viktormilenov, there is no active subscription on this address and the inactive subscriptions do not match your information. Do you have a DSL or glasvezel connection or something else?


Hey there, sorry for the delay I was occupied. It turns out I have been confused and what I have ti cancel is not the internet but a sim card that I have been using for the router which I have purchased. The sim card number is: [modified by moderator due to private information]. I deeply apologize for the confusion.

Hello @viktormilenov, I'm happy to help you with this! I checked right along with you and I see that you are already out of your contract period. I can stop the subscription for you. Please note that you always have one month's notice with us. If I process the cancellation for you today, your subscription will be stopped at the earliest on September 19, 2024. 

Before I can process the cancellation for you, I just need to do an additional check to make sure that you are the right person. I have just sent a verification code to the 097 number. Could you please share it with me? You can put the SIM card in your device so you can share the verification code with me. I look forward to receiving your response!


Hey, I am currently abroad and I am not receiving any message on that sim card. Is it possible to receive these messages from outside if the Netherlands. In any case I will attach a photo of the card number as proof. Let me know if I can do anything else.

@viktormilenov A picture of that, unfortunately, is not enough. If you cannot receive a verification code by SMS, I can possibly send the code by mail to the email address known to us.
