Hi. My phone plan is Odido Unlimited Plus, which has internet and phone call access in Turkey. I am currently in Turkey, and since I landed, my phone has not been getting any service. I tried everything shown on websites and everything with customer service, but none of it worked. I still get no service, which is very inconvenient since this resulted in me having to commute to my accommodation at night from the airport with no access to internet or phone calls which happens to be quite dangerous. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m here for 2 more weeks so I need to get this fixed.

Hello @Nehir, thanks for the clarification! In your account I see that you still get the notification that you are in the Netherlands.

Can you reset the network settings for me? On an iPhone, this is how you do it: 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Transfer or reset [device]' > 'Reset' > 'Restore network settings'. Then restart your device again.

Can you check the APN name in your device's settings to see if it says internet.mobiel? If something else is listed there, it won't work either.

I hope this will work and I'd love to see you response!

Hello @Nehir, welcome to our Community, I'm happy to help you with this! It should definitely work. I looked right at your subscription and I don't see any blockage for Roaming or anything else. I do see through your My Odido account that your SIM card still thinks you are in the Netherlands and not in Turkey. That is probably why it is not working.

Can you remove the SIM card and reinsert it into your device? Can you then restart your device and manually connect to a provider's network in Turkey? This can be done through the settings of your device. On an Android device, you can do this in settings > connections > mobile networks > network operators.

I look forward to your response!

Hello.

Thank you for your response. I use an eSIM and I am on an iPhone so I turned the line off, turned it back on, restarted my phone and selected a network, but it still did not work. My phone is up to date. A while ago i immediately logged into my Odido account after restarting it and I got service for a few seconds, though it went away immediately.

Good morning Nehir, sorry to hear that it didn't work. I'm glad to see that my colleague already forwarded a case to our technical department: 75107997. The processing time is normally 3 days, but because of the holidays it could take a little longer. I'm hoping they will get to your case at the end of this week or at the start of next week. If you haven't heard from them on Friday/Monday, please let me know and I will check the case to see if there's any updates. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
