Hi all!

I have a setup where an Asus router is behind the DrayTek Vigor2132 modem/router, and I connect all of my devices to Asus. I would like to enable port forwarding to my phone but because of the 2 router setup DrayTek also needs to be configured. Ideally I would like to put it in a bridge mode, but I could not figure out how.

Does anyone know if this is even possible and how to do it? Or what would be an alternative way?

Thanks!

Hello @Ne Nad

There is no bridge mode on the T-Mobile modem, if you have fiber you could remove the Draytek and connect your Asus to the Fiber but you'll need a mediaconverter then (TP-LINK MC220L) for example.

Than configure VLAN 300 for internet in your Asus.

Hi @Waqqas

Thanks for the quick reaction! I suspected this may be the case, considering I was not able to find any info on it, but it was worth asking regardless.

I've seen the topics on this forum about the media converter, that may indeed be a good alternative, I'll think about it.

Cheers
