1 Year later, still no fiber connection

Hired Odido to deliver fiber internet to the home I moved in December of 2023.

I made a service subscription in that same month, after many visits from Odido subcontractors VolkerWessels Telecom and their subcontractors Noor infratechniek there is no connection.

I tried to contact all of those parties, including odido multiple times and one just point to the other.

Noor infratechniek, the subcontractor of VolkerWessels came here and digged the front-yard multiple times without being able to connect the house to the network on the street, that apparently it doesnt exist! 

They just keep sending people that do not even look into the case history and keep trying to do the same thing.

To make matters worst, they putted in their system that the connection was done, creating even more troubles for me as a customer every time I need to call Odido and explain everything.

 

I truly don’t know why Odido keeps this type of subcontractors that clearly do not do a good service given that doing some basic search I found many complaints about similar problems.

 

Still, after many calls to Odido customer service the problem still not fixed and I don’t know if anything is happening in the background since I have not received any feedback on my complaints even when I was “promised” a call back within a week to at least keep me in the loop.

 

Could someone from Odido with a little bit of proactiveness help with this issue? 

You’d be forever remembered as the best CS agent Odido has! :D

@capee As promised, I would let you know as soon as I received an answer from my colleague. 

They’ve received an update from the network administrator stating that they will send a team to make sure that the Fiber is brought to your house. However, they mention that there is no date known yet. 

I really wish I could’ve told you differently. I want you to be able to enjoy our services! 

For now, I really have to ask you to wait for the Fiber to be ready to be installed. Of course, I’m always here for you if you want another update. I will inquire about it straight away!

Thank you for reaching out to us on this channel. My sincere apologies that you’ve been waiting this long, and for how we handled the situation. Of course, I want you to be able to enjoy our services. I’m happy to help you! 

I immediately looked into the system so I could inform myself about your situation. Luckily, I do see there is an ongoing active case. Today, again my colleague from the Fiber department asked the network administrator about a status update. 

We really want to deliver. However, we are also dependent on the network administrator to ensure that the connection is up and running. 

Since I don’t want you to be in the loop of things as well. I’ve asked my colleague to send me an update as soon as they know more. I will immediately inform you in this topic when I receive an answer!

Hi ​@Teresa van Odido  and Odido staff, unfortunately it has been 3 more months since your last reply I didn’t received any news about installing fiber on my street.

I still cant use the subscription I signed for and didn’t receive any call to update the status of it.

 

Could someone please look into my case and give it some help?

Hey ​@capee, we contacted the subcontractor on 27-02. We have not yet received a reply. We are waiting for a response from the subcontractor, as soon as we have it we will contact you!

I understand that you’re trying to contact them, I’ve tried that myself also.

That didn’t resulted into any change nor resulted into a commitment from their part to look at the issue.

 

I was expecting a little bit of proactiveness from Odido part, since sitting down and waiting for the subcontractor was attempted before on multiple occasion, without any success. 

 

Maybe someone from Odido can take a more direct approach and actually call them?
