Wrong cancellation date

Hello dear community,

because of movement from current location, I’ve performed a subscription cancellation via my Odido Web App (not on mobile phone).

I knew that the the notification period is 1 month so I’ve calculated that if I’m performing the operation this evening, the internet will be cutoff 1 month from today.

In the Notice Date on the cancellation form page the calendar looked pretty awful (with months and days showed somehow scrambled and overlapped - on Firefox, Windows 11) so I’ve selected the 3rd April somehow thinking that this is the day when the last month of subscriptions starts!!!

AND BAM, 10 seconds later - NO INTERNET, ZERO!

What are my solutions for reactivating the internet for this last month?

I’ll survive this night without internet but tomorrow my wife and my kids will ********* me (whatever words you can use there, it’s still so bad!!!!)

Thanks,

D.

Hoi @combat2k ,

Maybe you used the dutch to english translation of the webbrower. That works ugly with date slections on a webpage. It probably asked for the enddate and you selected today. You could have choosen a date in the future. Now the connection is cancelled amd can not be restored. You return now the equipment and will get a final invoice which will contain the last month of the cancellation period.

The quickest solution to get internet in your house is that you subscribe for a klik and klaar product. That will work as soon as you receive it and has one one month contractterm after which it you can already cancel it per month.

Hey @eric ,

thanks for the quick answer. But the today date was grayed out, so I’ve clicked on tomorrow. So why the cancellation today, couldn’t wait for tomorrow morning or so?

Anyway, I’ll contact the Sales tomorrow to see if there something that can be done, otherwise Klik and Klaar looks a possible emergency solution.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

D.

And about the translation, don’t know how’s in Dutch, but in English appeared as ‘Notice date’ .. so I thought that was the First day of the 1 month notice period, not a ‘Cancellation date’ …

Lost in translation, that’s for sure.

@eric , how quick can I get a klik and klaar product in my house? If I’m getting into an Odido shop, i can leave with such a product or should that be delivered to my house in like … 1 week or so?

Thanks again,

D.

You need to order it online and choose a specific Odido shop for the delivery of the router.  Sometimes a shop got a stock item, otherwise it will be send from the central warehouse.  In any case, you get an sms from the shop employee once the router is ready for pick-up.
