there is no stable internet. at times zyxel t-50 is blinking red light. even modem reset or power on/off doesnt help.. problem exists for more than a week. difficult to do work from home with this interupted internet connection

So the internet is up sometimes but it is not stable?

Do you have a Fiber or DSL connection?

If you have DSL make sure the modem is directly connected to the main KPN ISRA.


@Waqqas Its a DSL connection, connected to main ISRA in living room
Frequent disconnection is still happening, could not even attend any meeting thorough out the end.
Can this be checked

Which connection point do you have in your living room, can you share a photo?

Is there maybe another connection point in your fusebox?

Hi @Sangavi, is the DSL cable connected to the DSL port on the back of the modem?

This doesn't look like the original KPN ISRA punt.

I can see multiple red and blue wires connected (bridge tap) which can cause problems with your connection.

Please look for the main ISRA point on which the KPN cable is also connected and connect your modem there.

See the photo that I posted earlier for examples.


@Waqqas  this is the connection done by technician during installation, as per his feedback there is no other possible connection
@Jason van Odido yes it is connected, I am able to get internet but the problem it is not stable throughout the day as it is getting frequently disconnected

If this is the only connection point than you'll need to open this connection point and figure out which red and blue are from the main cable, all other red and blue wires can be removed.

Make sure in the end there are only 2 wires connected.


@Waqqas @Jason van Odido  again problem with internet, is it possible to arrange for technician visit
I have done all the self help, but this is causing trouble in work from home situation → seems to not a indoor issue, problem is at outdoor repair

if internet is reaching inhome, then modem reset, power on/off could resolve the problem
