I requested a subscription for fiberglass on 4th June for my new home, and almost 2 months later guidion didn't contact me yet.

3 weeks ago I contacted odido and they told me the reason was the fiber is not here yet (even though there is an orange cable that seems to be fiber), and it would be ready on 31st July. Again, I didn't receive anything from either guidion or odido. When I did the subscription no one told me about this. I have to call myself to get updates. 

It is tiring having to be chasing you while in the middle of changing houses.

Can I get an update and a solution about this one?

Is the orange fiber cable outside your house or has it allready been brought inside and is there a fiber connection point?


Hello, it is inside in the closet where the electrical control panel is. I see the orange cable, it says 'KPN Glasvezel' and it is connected to a white box. The box is not connected to anything though.

Than fiber in your home is ready and you will receive a mediaconverter and router from Odido which a Guidion technician will connect to the white box.

Maybe there still needs to be something done before the fiber is ready for use (not by you).


@eperezg Thank you for reaching out to us. I immediately send a message to my colleagues from the Fiber department. They will inquire about your connection to the network administrator. As soon as they know more they will inform you about this as well!
