Dear All

I Request the switch for Internet Fiber optic from KPN to ODIDO a month ago with starting date on 3rd December 2024. I have received the installation package but I didn’t receive any email from Guidion in order to schedule the appontment for the installation. Considering that are missing only 2 working days before the switch, what should I do? Is there the risk of ending up without internet?

What is the status in your Odido account?

In case you have used the overstapservice, KPN will stop in the date the Guidion technician comes.

I have actually received the insallation package 3 weeks ago, but I didnt hear anything from Guidion. And the starting date should be in 2 days, so im a bit confused.

I've come to check up on you and I'm curious if the home connection has been done yet. Has the fibre optic box (FTU) been installed or is it still to be done?

No yet, this still need to be done.  I am still waitng the receive the email in order to schedule the appointment with the contractor. 

Here comes my original question, considering that the starting date suppose to be tomorrow and no email for the appointment was received from Guidion (checked also spam folder), what should I do?

I looked into the system straight away and luckily; I see that the technician did come by yesterday. Great!

@Teresa van Odido I am afraid but technichian didn’t come.

Just today received the appointment to bring the fiber optic inside home  for 19th December, but it doesn’t come from guidion.

After that, another technichian should come for the installation?


Hi ​@Mario1987, it is correct that the appointment to bring the Fiber inside doesn't come from Guidion. This needs to be done by the network administrator. After they have installed the Fiber inside and made sure that you are connected to the district exchange, they will let us know. After that you will immediately receive a message from Guidion to make an appointment for the installation. After that your contract will be active with us!
