Hi ordered two mobile plans (for me and the wife) yesterday with phone number transfer.

Our SIMs have not even arrived yet (also won't arrive today according to PostNL app) and this morning I receive a text that the number will be switched. Few minutes later no service.

What the heck? Why would you do this before even supplying us with the SIM?

If you had a prepaid product with the old provider, you should have asked for number porting at a later stage. With a postpaid subscription at the old provider, there is always one month cancellation period.

  1. I was not given an option to select a date, nor did it say anything about the date when applying. This is out of the blue.
  2. I think Odido should not initiate switching numbers before even shipping the SIM. This is completely on them.

They give the option to “regel nummerbehoud achteraf” or “regel nummerbehoud per direct”

But there is not much which can be done now. So, as soon as the new sim arrives, the service is ready to use.

Hello @madwolfgang, welcome to our Community! If you have requested number portability, you should already be in possession of your SIM card. Happy to check with you if everything went well. Can you mention your full name, phone number, zip code + house number, date of birth and the last 4 digits of your bank account number in your profile? Then I can check with you!
