Dear,

Yesterday i had new internet subscription and the upload that I take only 200 Mbps where it is supposed to be 400 Mbps.

secondly, the ping ms fluctuates and sometimes it is over 150 ms.

 

i tried all the steps mentioned in the wifi from resetting to rebooting. Could you please help?

Can you restart the ONT and perform a wired test by connecting a laptop or pc to the router and perform a speedtest with the Ookla speedtest app?

Make sure there is no switch in between, you can share the result here.


Unfortunately, my laptop is not equipped with Ethernet port, it has only USBs ports.
luckily, I made the test from the laptop through wifi, and now it is giving me 400 Mbps. Thanks.

What about the ping ms sometimes it is above 100 ms?

If it is not affecting your internet it should be fine :)


Of course it affects the internet. Very slow response from the server to open websites. This happened yesterday while they where installing the internet and they changed the black box of the fiber optics that is provided by Odido trying to solve the problem. The problem fixed yesterday but it happens again from time to time.

I don’t know what KPN WBA means. How can we solve the slow response of the internet. Now it is very serious

Can you share a photo of the black device? If it's a Nokia or Genexis XGSPON ONT than please explain the problem with the needed information there.


The websites don’t respond as they should. It takes long time for websites to download its contents. This problems happens from time to time. Sometimes i get very fast response time and sometimes websites barely open. Two days ago when the technician was installing my fiber optics, the problem happened also during installation and he changed the Ont and the problem resolved only temporarily to the next day. Yesterday, I had almost no internet. Very long ping ms and response time.
I was using ptt (normal line) and I switched from ptt to fiber optics to have better internet. Imagine that my normal line (ptt) was perfect and never had an issue with it and the ping ms was around 10ms much better than the new fiber optics line. I don’t know where the problem is from ONT, Odido, router, or KPN network in general, I have no clue. 
I may return to ptt if the problem is not solved .

Do you experience this issue also during the day or only in the evening at moments when the network is the busiest? 


Ho @Demi van Odido that is true. It is an evening problem starting from around 17:00 until 23:00.

Hi @bilalalmaleh, some of our customers (depending on the network and ONT) may experience an unstable connection in the evenings. The connection is not stable enough to make good use of this.
