Internet connection is very unstable. I keep getting disconnected.
What i figured out so far :
- It's not on my side of the network (the disconnects happen across devices phone pc(wired) tablet etc )
- Reseting to factory defaults doesn't help.
- happens when i am doing more intense tasks ( internet wise) watching 4k videos/ playing games.
Any help would be apreciated.

Hi Florin22, we'll get that fixed right away! I have a few questions to help me determine the cause:
Are the disconnects happening with a wired connection or when using Wifi? If you are only using Wifi then could you test your wired connection as well? This will help us determine if it just the Wifi or if there is something more going on.
Are you receiving any error message when disconnecting?
What LED's are still burning on the modem when this happens?
If you could answer these questions for me then I'll see to getting this solved!

It happend with both. I think i already fixed by disabling ipv6 i will need to futher test to see if the issue is truly solved(most of the time the issues where in "rush hours" after people come from work and kids from school). Just in case someone reads this message and has the same issue here are the steps i took :
1. Go to your router page (type http://192.168.1.1/ in your browser address bar)
2. Log in using your credentials (username: user , password: user) default values.
3. Change the password to a more secure passowrd.
4. Under where is says drytech (if you have the drytech router) click on the ipv6 button (it might not look like a button but it actually is)
5. restart your router.
6. give it some time.
Hope that helps.
So far my connection seems much more stable. Hope it stays that way.

Hi Florin, good to hear you managed to solve it yourself! We are not using IPv6 yet though so this shouldn't affect your connection. Do let me know if the problems re-appear!
I think it's a problem in the router and how it handles ipv6 on the internal network. Honestly i dont know exactly why it worked but it did help. I only god one dissconect so far in 5-6 days, while before i would get quite a few every day.
Hey Florin, good to hear it helped! If the disconnects persist then note the day and time, then I'll let our networking specialists start an investigation to see if we can solve this permanently!
Yhea it started happening again i will start to monitor my connection.
Also note which lights are active on your modem at the moment when internet goes. Also can you tell us what works to reactivate it. Does it repair itself or do you reset the modem?
