Hello @Sarbast
Because you rent the house why don't you try powerline adapters?
It sends internet over the electricity in your house, it will be a lot more easier. Just plug and play :)
Hi Waqqas, i didn’t even know this is a thing but it feels like dark magic and i don’t want that in my house hhhh
But jokes aside, i have gigabyte internet from Odido and i’m playing online games a lot so i prefer ethernet cable all the way to my computer.
@Sarbast
Odido can only give you tips I think, it's better to ask a local technician/friend if he can help you and look at what needs to be done.
Permission from your landlord might be needed. Any costs incurred will not be reimbursed.
Not worried about the costs, i was hoping to have an Odido technician because the internet is from them, i see KPN have similar services: https://www.kpn.com/service/ugs/servicemonteur-internet
If I where you I would just try some powerline adapters first, if you're not happy with them, just sent them back during the 14day return window and you'll be reimbursed for the full amount.
If you are happy with the results you get from the powerlines it's a lot easier and probably cheaper then a technician.
Just to add: odido does not sent mechanics for stuff like this. They work with mechanics from Guidion, you can ask them about the costs and an appointment. Usually your local technicians will be cheaper though.
I read about it, the results are not promising. I will try find a local one then.
I see all other providers have technician for extra services, could someone from Odido confirm if they provide this service also?
@Sarbast
As @Okidokidough allready said, Guidion is the installation partner of Odido so they do the installation work, also see this page:
https://www.odido.nl/service/bestelling/internet-tv/installeren/installatie-door-monteur
Thanks Waqqas, I see the rates for additional work but how to hire? should i call Odido support or Guidion?
@Sarbast
You should call Guidion than.
